C/2007E1 GARRADD on April 18/19th 00.45 BST. Found in Cancer after extensive searching night after night in hazy conditions. Very difficult comet with a very low surface brightness green coma only slightly brighter toward the centre. No FN or tail seen. Detected with averted vision only - comet was invisible with direct vision. My 38th observed comet. Mag: 9 Dia: 5' D.C: 1 using 8.5" reflector...Martin Mc Kenna
